Default Tory Homophobia on parade at conservativehome.com

Quote:
Cameron is right about making the Tories an anti-racist party WRONG about supporting homosexualists and other such elements.

This needs to be a party of family values an decent behaviour, something the young Tory Muslims I am proud to work with know only too well.

There are too many cliques in the Tory Party. They need to be purged.
Quote:
Homosexuality is condemned by the Bible and the Koran. I have no time for atheists and the like who support anti-family behaviour. The Nazi Party was stuffed with these people.

When I was Vice-Chair of my association we had a Ward officer who was an appalling effeminate drunk. I was advised to "keep an eye on him" by a senior policeman who was a member of my lodge.

I did my best, but of course he was arrested one night with another man in a toilet. It could have been predicted!

Luckily I was able to pull strings behind the scenes to keep the good name of the party out of the press.

The Labour Party and the Liberal Party have always been stuffed with them. It was Labour who made it legal - not us.

You are entitled to your opinion but personally I would never support one of these people.

And UKIP homophobia can be found here:-

http://www.ukipforum.co.uk/about11372-0.html

http://www.democracyforum.co.uk/view...hlight=#101996

And what was that famous quote from our London Mayor candidate on gays?

It is a slippery slope for UKIP to take the moral high ground on an issue when our political enemies could very easly use any number of quotes or members published views against us!

Anybody can go onto an unofficial party forum and cherry pick commentss from people - we don't even know are members and try and paint the whole party.

...which we are trying to do with a couple of posts on Toryhome?

That's totally irrelevant. UKIP has no policy on gays - it's down to personal conscience.

Personally I couldn't give a damn what capers they get up to as long as they do it in private.

The Tories claim that they are pro-gay. It's a pack of lies of course as I can assert from over thirty years membership of The Nasty Party.

The issue is not homosexuality but hypocrisy.

I wonder if the poster gave his/her name or whether it was an anonymous post. It strikes me as odd that a post that panders to the prejudices of the PC crowd should contain several elements that could be used against the poster.

The poster is:

1 Homophobic

2 A Freemason

3 In a Lodge with a senior policeman who asked Lodge members to carry out police work - which of course the poster did!

4. Able to pull strings behind the scenes to keep the party's good name out of the press (Freemason you see...).

What a happy string of coincidences!!!

He describes people as 'homosexualists' (sic) and 'effeminate drunks' - lovely pejorative terms.

Why would a senior policeman ask an Association Vice-Chairman to 'keep an eye' on a 'ward officer'? In what context? The 'act of gross indecency'or whatever is not something that a part-time party official could monitor.

The clue is, however, in the wording. If the post has been transcribed correctly then the poster is not an old fashioned family values Conservative, but a PC pinko-Trot troll. He describes himself as Vice-Chair, not, as a traditionalist would, Vice-Chairman. When I was in the Tories everybody called themselves Chairman, even the ladies who would bask in the title of Madame Chairman.

Only modernising wooftas refer to themselves as 'chair'. A chair is something that you sit on. A Chairman, male or female, sits on a chair.

Older people, who are 'traditional' in their views, are also traditional in their language.

I have been to lots of Freemasons Lodges, some with police members and some without, and have never encountered such behaviour. It is not allowed, ever, to discuss politics or religion in Lodge and most people do not make a play of their political connections.

As a UKIP person I would hesitate to use the term "homophobia" as a general term to describe anyone with reservations about homosexuality - it's too PC, and doesn't allow a nuanced view to be expressed.

For myself, I have no wish to condemn consenting adults doing what they like, but I wouldn't, for instance, want homosexuality to be advocated as an ideal in schools. Am I "homophobic"?

(I am not saying that the poster on conservativehome has views I would agree with.)

I wouldn't be too sure about that. I understand that at least one Tory shadow minister monitors it regularly.

What a cute little bunch they are. I believe Dante reserved a very special part of the Inferno for their type.
