Default Cameron snubs Channel 4 news over 'cocaine' interview

The pro-EU and anti-UKIP leader of the Conservative Party, David Cameron, is (according to the press gazette) refusing to do any more interviews - for the foreseeable future - with Channel Four Television following disagreement (allegedly by David Cameron) over an interview it (Channel Four Television) did with him in which they brought up the subject of Cocaine:

The problem DC has is that one day, if he has snorted coke, it will come out. It is arguable that what he did as student at Oxford should have no bearing on his position now. We all make mistakes and we all grow up. The thing is that he might one day be PM and he needs to have his back covered.

He has now stated that he has not used cocaine whilst being MP for Witney. That is fine. I know people who were on his selection board and wonder if they asked him if he had ever used drugs before he became a candidate. I know that I would have made use of the fact of drug use at the 2005 GE - it would almost certainly got me my deposit back since I stood against DC.

I think this will haunt him for years to come. If there is anybody out there with evidence they will save it until after close of nominations at the next GE.

I'm no expert or practioner but how long does it stay in for Gawds sake

Many of his statements since becoming Con Leader sound as if he is on another planet.

....and then, in the future, he could have his finger on the red button

Default Tory selection

I know for a fact that Tory candidates are regularly asked about whether they have taken drugs,I also am aware that past drug use has not disqualified some candidates from being selected.
