It is with disappointment that I have decided not to renew my membership of the UK Independence Party (which expired in October 2005). The awful results in the 2005 general election, Farage’s endless pandering to Tory voters and his thwarting of Lechlade’s attempts to modernise and organise the party have eroded UKIP into a lost cause. Yet I have continued to make regular donations to the party. But UKIP’s failing’s only make up half the problem.

Over the last year or so, I have been gradually falling out of love with the ‘United Kingdom’. The grossly unfair Barnett Formula, the increase in violent and verbal attacks on English tourists visiting Scotland and Labour’s continuing ignorance towards the people of England have brought the end to the days when I would fly the Union Flag with rose tinted spectacles. ‘British’ is a word that a year ago I would have said with heart-pounding pride. Now I say it with the kind of mental entrapment as ‘European’.

Blair, Brown and Merciless Ming all wrapped themselves up the Saltire during the recent Dunfermline by election - yet at Westminster, they are as British as haddock and chips. “We don’t want to cause a system of two tier MPs” Well Ming, you and your McMaffia chums are creating a two tier country where England remains the only nation in Europe without it’s own parliament.

Even Cataluna and Basque Country retain some level of autonomy.

So why not England?

Why does our nation’s name resound to little more than a football team? Why do Asda label their whisky as ‘distilled in Scotland’ yet their Grimsby made ready meals are “Made in the UK”?

But please don’t doubt my appetite for EU withdrawal. That remains intact - but only for this great land from Berwick downwards.

Comment - More and more people are falling out of love with Britain.
With most of Ireland out, Scotland likely to be run by the SNP next year, then the English are discarding British identity, just like the Irish and Scots.

Whoopee! Lets all look forward to the break up of the UK, and multi-cultural England, vying with multicultural Scotland, multicultural Wales and all in a globalist free trade international big business scenario run by the good ol USA. :shock:

No doubt the EDP's great activist who uses the avatar of "Richard the Lionheart" will be rousing the English Patriots of Bradford in a great Jihad against Scotland! :roll: :evil:

Could someone please explain to him that members of the Islamic community might be a tad concerned about association with such symbols. :wink:

Who said anything about MULTI-CULTURAL

I do however believe that we have to live in a Multi-Racial society not because I personally believe that Mass immigration started in the 1960's is/was a good idea.

But mainly because I have not heard of any 'solution' to the problem, that would not result in immediate civil war.

Multi-Racial within a Mono-Cultural England is the answer.

The break up of the UK is the only way any of the home nations will get a Nationalist government.
The BNP has no chance of ever coming to power while in the current situation as Scotland and Wales will supply over 100 Labour MP's.

thank god the BNP won't come to power. the BNP is finished and more and more people now understand how rotten they are.
people need to wake up and understand that the UK is no more, no matter what people think and want to cling onto the past.
the only option is for people to break with the past and join their native countries in a battle for survial. England thankfully now has a nationalist party that actaully does what it says on the tin, it represents the people of England in a democratic way.
this doesn't mean the end of relations with other parts of the old UK, in fact I actually think it brings into being a new, fresh and positive relationship between the 4 countries.
