10)English-Patriot: Northern Ireland is not 5/6th Scottish descent- most people I know are Irish Descent, and I mean Irish!!!!!!! If you offer more that just a Euro-sceptic party then people will vote, but putting UK in the name wont- Hence the discussion- Should a new Political Party be started in Northern Ireland?!?!

Most People from Mainland Britian do not understand anything about Northen Irish people, politics or way of life- But you should try and learn!!!!

Keep posting, and I will try and I will try and give my Northern Irish opinion.......

Cheers,

Robert, do you think that Ian Paisley's DUP (the more Eurosceptic of the two major Unionist parties I believe) would advocate that the UK withdraws from the EU entirely? I know they are pretty Eurosceptic but I am not fully aware of what their exact policy on the EU is.

Well im sorry that youre personally offended Robert, that was never the intention, but, as Paisley would say, "that is my unshakeable conviction".

My possition would be for a fully restored N Ireland parliament with power to command the Royal Irish Regiment while all regiments from Great Britain are withdrawn.

But a restored Stormont wouldn't have the power to do that even in a devolved or federal system of government because defence and foreign affairs are always the reserved to the overall central national government.

The situation in Northern Ireland requires they should have control of their own armed forces.
It is basically like giving them Dominion status.
