I only hope the next election isnt fought at a fast pace otherwise i tear for Sir Mings health.

Some will but most of my fellow Englishmen are more mature than that and think our fellow BRITONS ie Scotsmen and Welshmen could make excellent PMs for the United Kingdom of GREAT BRITAIN and Northern Ireland.

Does any sensible person really give a damm what part of the United Kingdom a PM comes from provided he/she is competant and does their best for Britain? The more important question is that a British PM nowdays has little power thanks to the fact our country is in the EU and this is what should concern all of us.

Yes, I would agree with that. Mr Campbell would make an able Foreign Secretary. Certainly, he is more suited to that role than Jack Straw.
