Oliver wins Ch 4 political award

More than 14,000 people voted for Mr Oliver in the Channel 4 political awards, with Liberty director Shami Chakrabarti in second place.

Viewers were asked to choose from a shortlist which also included Tony Blair, Bob Geldof and David Cameron.

Respect MP George Galloway, just out of the Big Brother house, came third.

That 1,2 3 makes me laugh. I bet Geldof's ego has shrunk down a bit too.

Blast! Was just writing my acceptance speech! It was an honour just to be nominated! As you say Pooly,..... always next year. But can I rely on the votes of the forum?, no tactical voting you slippery sorts!
