Default NICK GRIFFIN TRIAL UPDATE

The Jury will shortly be out in the trial of BNP Leader Nick Griffin and party member Mark Collett. Whatever the verdict it is a win win situation for the BNP. If he's jailed he will become a martyr to the cause of "Free Speech," if acquitted he will have been proved right. Messages of support have flocked in from supporters and also from political opponents who support our right to free speech. Either way the BNP campaign goes on and it's members and supporters invigorated for the struggle ahead.

Dumbest case brought ever. So dumb, that it makes you wonder what the real reason for bringing it was.

As a matter of interest, if Griffin does go down, what is the democratic procedure in place to elect a new leader?

Or will Griffin stay leader in prison?

Or will a leader just be selected, as the membership can't be trusted?

counterpoint:- Hamza trial summing up.

Quote:
Mr Hamza was "not on trial for his political views" unless they led him to commit the offences on which he was charged, the trial judge warned.

As he started summing up the case, Mr Justice Hughes said: "It is not an offence to describe living in England as a toilet.

"It is not an offence to suggest western societies are corrupt or have no moral basis."
discuss.

The clear difference between hamza and griffin is that griffin urges his followers to user their votes. Hamza urges TNT rucksacks.

very true- as much as the BNP is full of racist thugs to a certain extent- Griffin still urged party members and supporters not to go INTO phpbb_bradfor town centre at the times of racial violence in the city.

Hamza tells all his followers to destroy lives of those who do not believe in Islam in this country.

I wonder who will get the harsher verdict? my bet- Griffin.

Farce.

But lets wait and see eh?

I still say we should have extradited Hamza to the USA.

Hmmm... Griffin is being judged by jury, yes?

I wonder what effect this current Denmark situation will have on the outcome? After all, he's on trail for saying that "islam is a wicked, vicious faith" and they appear to proving him right as we speak.

Griffin, Hamza, who's next? I was listening to John Denham talking about free speech last night and he couldn't give a proper definition of what's not offensive and what is. He reminded me of one of those Russian communist journalists spouting the party line to Western governments. New Labour's got a bit in common with Pravda, I think!

No comment about the press on the continent publishing those cartoons. The only reason why New Labour is so exercised about all this is because of Muslim votes. Blair never said anything about Jerry Springer the Opera, but then why should he? It all seems a bit one-sided!
