The point they were making is that there are clear double standards where 'racism' is concerned. They give the example that, while it is apparently perfectly acceptable to say "poor white trash", there would be uproar if a white used terms such as "black trash" or "asian trash". I think we all know all too well that such a double standard does exist, and the BNP seem to be the only people with the courage to point it out.

Activists from the Oldham branch and others from Burnley and Harrogate met outside the Granada TV studios earlier today (19th) to protest about the Coronation Street soap episode shown earlier this week - Monday(16th).

During this episode the following scene took place:- "Anyway she (Sunita) was visited by her Brother (Jayeesh) who was obviously disappointed that this sister was living alone and not with the father of her twins etc and offered to take her to the family home where Mum and Dad etc would welcome such additions to the family. She replied no I have to be independent etc. and he replied: "You can't live like this like some “white trash” living on benefits etc."

This is an openly anti-white racist remark, insulting every white working class British citizen, it is particularly insulting to single white mothers who through no fault of their own are left to cope with the child or children, with little or no help from the state. Anyone who is in this position will know how difficult it is to make ends meet and understand why so many single white mothers and their families have called local and national BNP party organisers to complain about this programme.

The calls however have not been confined to single mothers; we have had calls from people from all walks of life and from all ages.

Protest

About 40 party activists held a peaceful demonstration outside the Granada TV studios in Manchester where the soap is made. There were several members of the press there to cover the event, as well as a Granada TV crew who filmed us then retreated back behind the two rather large skinhead Granada security guards. BNPtv filmed the action and this can be viewed here.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) sent three officers; an inspector, a Sergeant and a PC, it was explained to them that our demonstration would be totally peaceful, to which the inspector replied, we know that but we want to prevent any trouble from the anti's, if they turn up.

Activist Mick Treacey made an official complaint to the inspector, regarding what we consider to be a racial slur, in fact it is incitement to racial hatred. She immediately read out a prepared statement.

Police refusal

The statement they made said:

"This is an actor in a drama that would probably amount to an offence if used in real life. GMP believe that there are no aggravating factors which indicate that the programme makers are attempting to incite racial hatred. In the absence of any aggravating factor GMP will not be carrying out any investigation. The determination of broadcasting standards is not the role
of the police.

Signed by Inspector Ann Walker 6663 19.01.05 at 12.46pm."

Role reversal

We find this pre-prepared statement quite unbelievable, as imagine the uproar if the programme makers had allowed this Asian actor to say, "poor Asian trash" or "poor black trash", imagine the likely riots and civil unrest that might follow.

It seems that the C.R.E. with its grossly overpaid boss, Trevor Phillips, who earns about £100,000 per year for a four day week, is only interested in "racial equality" if it affects Asians or blacks. His race industry does not work for the white British people of the UK.

Bosses at Granada refused to meet us to receive our official complaint letter, calling for an official apology and the sacking of the script writers and we were only able to leave on with the security desk.

Finally on a worrying note, we were tipped off by a Granada worker that this character Jayesh, is set to join the soap as an angry racist Asian, and the racial story lines are set to continue based around his character.

The Oldham branch will not let this drop and intend to challenge the GMP decision to ignore anti-white racist story lines now and in the future.

A nationwide call will be made to all British citizens to boycott the products advertised during the commercial breaks.

People will assume that UKIP members are just as interested in misrepresenting other parties as they claim other parties are in misrepresenting them.

I cannot find this link on the British National Party website, and suspect it was never there.

The British Nazi Party is or was a front-name for the November 9th Society - I cannot find their webpage to confirm the existence of the quote there.

If you wish to discredit BNP policies, and there is no reason why you should not, please do it from easily available, official sources, that anyone can access, rather than this somewhat ham-fisted smear attempt from someone with enough experience to know better.
