Default Cameron has a face like a pudding says Joan Collins

Not so tasty

He may currently be the golden boy of British politics but David Cameron has failed to seduce one crucial ally: the sharp-taloned, arch Tory supporter Joan Collins.

"He's got a face like a pudding, don't you think?" Joanie tells me.

"He's definitely not as attractive as Tony Blair. I sat next to Tony once at Chequers and he told me he'd wanted to be an actor. I thought to myself: 'Well, you've got your wish, haven't you?' "

A smart cookie, Collins. But perhaps her hostility towards Cameron stems from her belief that William Hague could do a better job, despite once saying the Yorkshireman had a face "like a foetus".

"I really was hoping he would return, you know. But then no one can top Margaret Thatcher. We went to her 80th birthday and she gave the most wonderful speech without using any notes."

Collins is hardly a credible critic of the political landscape is she! Not after the RKS fiasco anyway.

I don't think that the endorsement of Joan Collins is worth many votes. If people sway their views because of her opinions then they are rather sad.
