Default LIES....AND I'LL DRINK TO THAT

So Charlie boy Kennedy has lied to his party faithful when he said a few months ago that he hadn't a drink problem, and that he wasn't receiving treatment for it ! How many more liars are there at the top of the ladder? CHEERS !

Press statement at 5.45 this evening. BBC web is carrying this:-

Quote:
Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy has admitted he "been seaking to cope with a drink problem". He said he had "struggled" against alcohol but had not had a drink for two months now and is in good health.

He said he wished he had admitted his drink problem earlier - but he was determined to carry on as leader of the Liberal Democrats.

But he said he would call a leadership election to give party members a say over his - and his party's - future. The BBC has learnt that just under half of Mr Kennedy's front bench team signed a letter saying they no longer have confidence in his leadership.
Et Tu, scotgirl?
