Thanks MK, like I was saying elsewhere, the timing for this ID stuff is perfect though, whether or not they deport people.

Just a thought! 570,000 illegal immigrants in the country. Blair says ID cards will stop more abuse. He says everyone will have one. OK. So what about the 570,000.

Are they to get ID cards after an amnesty?
Or are they going to be rounded up and deported?

If they are rounded up, what happens if they refuse to go?
If they refuse to go, what happens if they go on hunger strike or riot in the detention centres?

If they are all in detention centres, where are these people going to be housed?

I don't think Blair has a clue! That bully-boy Clarke seems only fit for pushing legislation past MPs.

Is this what we want our country to become? Remember, the democratic deficit :shock: Chancer Blair has 21.6% legitimate support!! :twisted:

They knew then how many. It was hidden away in clues. How many are there now? I'll bet there are at least double if not more. How much strain will this be putting on our health service and welfare state? They won't be the most healthy or educated bunch. If only 1% are terrorists that will be "only" 5700 on the streets not counting our "own" home bred "insurgents".
