Default Coming to the U.K. soon?

In the first month of the new ID obligations in the Netherlands, the Dutch police have issued 3,300 fines to people who could not immediately show a valid ID when asked. According to the Dutch Public Prosecution Service, the ID checks mainly take place in specific circumstances. "ID control mostly occurs in situations of disorder or possible violence, for example at night in entertainment districts. Also in situations with an elevated risk of disorder, such as soccer matches, the police may verify the identity."

In reality, the main result of the new ID obligations is a major increase in fines. People cycling on their bicycle without light for example, will get two fines. The Public Prosecution Service has indicated clearly it wants to make an example. "The main rule is there will be few escapes available for people who can't immediately present their ID. There is no right to an easy-going treatment, because it will in the end undermine the value of mandatory ID for law enforcement."

I mention the above after reading that Kent Police will now be attending a year at univerity - and as we all know, universities are in receipt of £millions from the E.U. to promote the E.U. agenda ...

If we get this I can foresee a mass of 'lost ID card' reports to get out of paying the fine. Look how many people leave their mobiles lying around.

Um, I doubt it - not when folks find out the cost of replacement cards.
Best thing to do is to say you never received the card in the first place - unless 'ti sent by registered or recorded delivery.

Yeah, I forgot about the cost.

Great, I've got to pay to make sure I'm me.

If I'm paying I think I'll have to improve the subject before its set in stone. Lose a few pounds (the card cost will do that). Knock 10 years off and set up a decent CV, racing driver, astronaut and model.

If it gets on the card it must be true.

Better to go in the other direction methinks.
If they think you have something worthwhile they'll only seek to take it off you.
Unemployed street entertainer aged 85 should work.
I wonder what is the penalty for giving false info.?
