Br the end of 1998 only 1.92% of the population were members of the three main parties. The labour 'landslide' (24% of the electorate) of 2001 was based on the lowest turnout since 1918.
This is the best time for UKIP to kick them out and replace them with a patriotic party that is not afraid to tackle the EU, immigration, politcal correctness and so on. The other parties are in terminal decline. In Suffolk the average age of their members/supporters is 65. They can't find replacements for love nor money. One Tory admitted to me that if it continued they would be a spent force in Suffolk within ten years. Most of the people I speak with are sick of the three main parties. The Tories, Labour and Libs all say the same thing, have the same policies and only argue over minor issues. As one said to me last week 'that shower in parliament are not worth thinking about. They only think of themselves and only remember us when it comes to voting time. At least your lot are prepared to listen and offer the country some decent policies.' We have got to get our mesage across now. The people are turning away from the other parties in their thousands. This time we can make a difference! |

I'm basing my election strategy on nicking one third of the support for each of the main parties... have to be that many disaffected and anti - EU voters in each one. Plus pick up some of the I dont Vote Party supporters and I'm in.
piece of cake. Don't riskit, vote Biscuit.
