Default Smoke in our eyes ...

The prime minister has made no secret of his opposition to an outright ban on hunting - and was not keen on it coming INTO phpbb_force so close to a likely May election.

Mr Blair said "We will now go to the courts and I have no doubt it will be an election issue, but it always was going to be an issue."

Has Blair ever had explained to him the concept of prioritisation?
Or just the concept of the smokescreen?

Anti-hunt campaigners tonight accused the Government of bowing to “bullying and intimidation” after it emerged that a ban on fox hunting was likely to be delayed until after the General Election.
Are these jokers serious? Do they really think this is about "bowing to bulling and intimidation"? They must realise it is 100% a politcal move to prevent the whole thing blowing up in the run up to an election.

If that fails, the alliance has said that it will use human rights legislation to mount a second challenge in a case which may eventually have to be settled by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
There is the bottom line though. Britain has no say over the matter in the end, as our masters in the EU have the final say!

Court of human rights.

Duh!

Once again my ignorance comes to the fore, for, I thought this was about animal rights, not human rights.

This really is such a wonderfully educational forum!

Thanks guys!
