Although the government claims that the cards will cost £85, which is extremely expensive, the cost will actually be far more. They failed to include the development cost of at least £6 Billion (and probably much more). This adds an extra £100 to the cost for every many woman and child in this country.
A family of four therefore will be paying a minimum of £740 for their ID cards overall. How many families would vote in favour of ID cards if they could see that cost in front of them? |

I am seriously considering the same action. It is time the people stood up and said enough is enough. We are not property of the state, to do with as they wish.
