Default Britain likely to cut Gurkha strength by half

http://www.thehimalayantimes.com/ful...eDate=20041219

Quote:
British defence secretary Geoff Hoon is considering whether to slash a regiment of the Gurkhas. According to Scotland on Sunday, army chiefs have told Hoon that he must “consider sacrificing half of the historic Nepali soldiers” who have served the UK for generations if he is to meet the target of shaving four regiments to meet his blueprint for the British forces in the 21st century.
I am getting sick of this, we can't just let Buff Hoon wreck this country anymore. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that direct action is going to be required soon!

It is shameful the way the Gurkhas have been treated, how many of the people let in from Sangate would be prepared to fight for this country - perhaps a few would be willing to fight against it. I believe some of the Gurkhas are based in Dover now, how terrible it must be for them to see so many people coming in to this country on free tickets and getting a better deal than they do.

We have no better friends than the Gurkhas!
