Default Goodbye Blunkett and good riddance. Now let’s ditch his laws

The real question now is: with Blunkett consigned to the backbenches, will the government reform its anti-terror legislation, rethink its plans on ID cards and soften its stance on asylum seekers? Initial signals are confusing and contradictory. Charles Clarke has been assumed to more liberal than the departing Home Secretary, and since taking up the job has signalled that his commitment to civil liberties is rather stronger. The former labour leader, Neil Kinnock, said of him: ‘‘His instincts are definitely liberal. His strongest motive force is justice.’’
Sorry, but this proves that Kninnock should be thrown in the loony bin. He has lost all the little grip he had on reality, and is a real danger by being given any say or power!

Humph! Surely Kinnock could be honest (I've met said Mr Clarke and found him fat, sweaty and uninteresting).
