She is a Blarite, which the mkpdavies English Dictionary has down as -

According to the Mail on Sunday, Ruth Kelly is a member of Opus Dei.

I suggest you search google for info on this secret society, but the 'bad things' about Opus Dei, amongst others listed include:-

Seems similar to New labour then.

Actually,I don't give a toss about Opus Dei or what they may or may not stand for. I am concerned that a cabinet member may be a member of a 'secret society'.

I was there when Ruth Kelly Said and I quote

"I have every confidence in the Integrity and Honesty of Mr Blunkett"
