So basically, marginal tweaks and platitudes. ("low" taxation, defined relative to what exactly?)

The ID cards thing shows, quite plainly, that the Tories are now what they were in 1997: gutless tabloid-chasers, the inventors of much of the nanny state, big-state hypocrites lacking even Labour's philosophical integrity.

Crashing naivety. You have to be out here to really understand the sheer inexorability of the EU movement. The UK, as one voice in 25, has exactly zero chance of renegotiating any treaty. It's either in or out.
Yawn no naivety, if it is bad we will negotiate, if we cant we will get out, simple enough.

Let me get this straight.

You are against the constitution but OK to go INTO phpbb_Europe.
You need to actually go in to Europe to determine how'bad' it will be. Can't you decide on current evidence?

I'm all for a decision here. You can't fudge this issue, you can't appear to be all things to all people - like on ID cards as well.

Why? because no-one, currently, knows where the tories stand. Thats why you are loosing votes. Thats why you lost my vote, and my wifes, and a lot of my ex-service friends.

My dear mystical friend.

Yes, the Tory government is anti-government interference ... but only when it is governments other than a Tory government which is doing the interfering.

The Tories believe they should govern by right and it is everyone else which is doing the interfering by having elections and suchlike.

Someone else suggested that the Cons and the Labs should combine to form a single party. With this I agree. It would be a well-balanced party. It would have a chip on both shoulders.

When polling day comes, I advise putting your cross where the rewards will be the most satisfying.

That is - vote for the UKIP.

Just imagine both Blair's and Howard's faces as Roger Knapman moves INTO phpbb_10 Downing Street.

How would that feel?

Money cannot buy that sort of pleasure.
