When watching programmes following traffic cops on the beat or similar tv shows. Its easy to see how the police's hands are tied when it comes to assylum seekers.

I remember reading an article on a pair of young girls from eastern europe who have been caught in the act of over 200 pick pocketing offences and the courts can not do anything.
There is always a lawyer on their shoulder pointing out the legal loop holes.

I remember seeing a film call "The Firm". I think it accurately portrayed how tensions in some of the less well off areas were becoming fraught, due to envy and resentment.

A poor working class family who had been on the same horrible council estate for years were looking to move INTO phpbb_a nicer area, by applying for new flats/houses that had been buit by the council. They were having no luck, but saw immigrant families being housed in the nice new homes which they thought they should have first rights too.

The immigrant familes were just trying to look after themselves, but you can see why a family in desperate need of getting out of a horrible area (daughter was getting hooked up with drugs etc), would become resentful. How would you feel in the same position?

I know this situation does occure in real life and not this piece of fiction, as I know someone who felt exactly like this when they couldn't move to a certain area.

Unfortunatley the whole issue gets hijacked by nazis that want to make it INTO phpbb_a race issue. This is why this country really needs to tackle the question of immigration, in a calm and mature way, and not let it become a recruitment area for parties such as the BNP.

That is why you have not been banned Albion, and Jim Crow was.

Keep it civil and we welcome debate from all here!
