Default Howard: 'Tories ready for power'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3988583.stm
Quote:
In a two-page dossier on Mr Howard's achievements, the Tories also highlighted successes in European elections, improved party finances, new offices, a new campaign director and greater diversity among candidates.
I thought that Michael Howard hated political correctness, yet they have used the word "diversity" - perhaps the most PC word ever hijacked. Or is his aversion to political correctness merely a "vote winning" sham?

All the Tories are ready for is Powering off. They are a tired, self-interest motivated bunch of two-faced liars. They can't win any election that includes anyone but the South of England, and they are losing ground there too.

If I didn't know better I would think they were doing their best to make sure Labour win again, even though they are deeply unpopular with most of Britain.

No doubt about it, it is time for UKIP.

What a joke! Howard will say anything to get a few grubby votes. The Tories are finished as a party. I predict another crushing defeat for them next year. Howard is not patriotic in the least, but he thinks that making a few anti-immigration/EU noises will fool people INTO phpbb_backing him. The Tories failed this country the last time they were in power. They won't get the chance again!

What a pity the Tories' 'diversity' doesn't include ordinary folk who don't have one or all of the following:

1) a large country estate and a title;
2) high-powered jobs;
3) a business of their own;
4) plenty of dosh in the bank. :x
