UKIP MEP Robert Kilroy-Silk meanwhile accused Mr Howard of plagiarising a speech he made on immigration earlier in the week. Asked about that on BBC Radio 4's Today programme the Tory leader said: "I must confess I don't read UKIP's website, so I'm afraid I was totally unaware that UKIP had put forward these proposals, but if they do support them, that's fine. I welcome the support."
Does Michael Howard actually expect anyone to believe that his speech wasn't a rip-off of the one given by Kilroy-Silk less than two weeks previously?

He may not read the UKIP website, but he was certainly repeating our policy.

It just goes to show you how stupid Howard thinks the people are. The Tories are immensley concerned about the UKIP and monitor everything that is done by the party. To say he didn't know about RKS speach is a blatant lie and another good reason why the people can't trust the Tories anymore. The fact we pushed them INTO phpbb_fourth shows they are in deep trouble. UKIP has to push itself INTO phpbb_the void that has been left as if the Liberals are the chosen alternative we may as well order the plane tickets now as they are WORSE than Labour when it comes to EU policy.
