Well, we wouldn't want to prejudice the case against Venables in any way, would we?

Once he has been found guilty let us hope he remains in prison for the rest of his life.

There is also a gagging order in place for the press. While I do know that the internet is impossible to police, it is not the most responsible thing to give details. And what if you got the wrong person?

Personally I hope they release Venables and Thompson sometime soon so that some one catches up with them, and take the little ******* down to the railway line and put them across the tracks so that a train can come along and decapitate them like they did to Jamie Bulger. That is of course after they have had acid (or was it paint) thrown in their eyes and batteries shoved up their backsides.

given that he was on life licence I agree with you life should mean life if he is convicted, however nothing must be done to prevent a fair trial.

Eh? Venables and Thompson were released in 2001 and as far as I know Thompson is still out there somewhere living his life.

Eh? YEs you are right of course. But meant Venables being taken back in should be released ASAP if someone can have a little walk down to the railway line with him.

Neither one of them should have been released, but this is what happens when idiots elect New Labour.

    "Isn't it fairly obvious?"
No because, as I said, I haven't taken much interest in this case.

    "guilty of spreading malicious rumours"
No, I am Guilty of relaying a Post at the request of the Poster and introducing that post with "An unsubstatiated forum source......."

"there really might be someone of that name...."
I am not responsible if someone commits a crime because of a mistaken identity.

"How would it affect his right to a fair trial"
It wouldn't unless the Jury member was trawling the Internet looking for Information, in which case the Juror would be commiting the injustice.

"spreading unfounded rumours of this nature is grossly irresponsible..."
So your saying that I am being GROSSLY irresponsible by posting someone elses comment at their request, without personnaly proving that it is true.

However consensus seems to be that it was not a good thing to do, so I will be more careful in the future.

Why would you want him to be released as soon as possible if he is guilty of a serious crime? Oh, I see - to be torn to bits by the lynch mob. I'm surprised at you Angelman!
