Ea of Dune is just starting out

I remember coming out of a gig about 7 years ago, I was walking through the town centre and it was about 2 in the morning as the venue had a late license and the bar was open after the gig.
Anyway they had those stupid pieces of "modern" pieces of artwork stuck in the pedestrian area and some oddly shapped concrete bench things. Some student who had just been to the gig sort of jumped on the concrete bench thing then jumped off it, much like a kid would jump on a wall.
Anyway a minute later a police van which had been watching this "incerdent" decided it warrented pulling over and throwing the chap in the back.
Now fair enough it was silly, however nothing got damaged (it's concrete and covered in gum and bird sh*t god knows I wouldn't have sat on it), it's 2 am, he wasn't causing a problem to anyone else. At the very worst a quick word from the copper saying something like "don't stand on the concrete bench" would have probably been enough.
But no some idiot police officer decided it warrented an arrest.
Crazy, yet I have given statements several times to the police and they have done absolutly nothing, unless you include ringing me back 8 months after I'd witnessed a violent assault in a pub and I'd moved house 200 miles away by this point....

Scumbags.

Except things like carrying guns and knives and doing things like robberies. I lived there for 12 years and ended up in hospital with broken ribs after a van load of immigrants robbed my flat. The neighbours took the number plate and gave it to the police and the police found the van parked outside a house. They did not do anything about it because they said to me that there was no one in the van. So Manchester remains ridden with serious crime and your taxes pay for the police to serve you!

God you've had a rough time Baron - sorry to hear that.

Glad to see you back on the forum here again - haven't seen you for a while.
