The talk is that Straw only lifted the exclusion zone because they was concerned that the voters would support the Tory joker as mayor as he claimed to be against it.

Is that an avatar of a morning star euroskeptic?

Er, no, it's the sun setting over Chapel Rock in Perranporth, Cornwall.

It's almost too good to be true. A French president comes to London and
lavishes praise on everything British, from the bulldog spirit that
brought us victory in the Second World War to hailing Parliament as a
touchstone for democracy throughout the world. More to the point, he
wants to be our friend. Whether it be setting up joint co-operation
projects to build a new generation of nuclear power stations, or working
closely with the British Government to exert influence over the European
Union and other international institutions, there seems to be no limit
to Nicolas Sarkozy's rampant Anglophilia.

Nope! Sarkozy is just using us nothing more, he come's over here praising us for saving he's country over 60 years ago and how does he repay us by stabbing us in the back over many issue's.
