The whole point of Zero Tolerance is that any crime no matter how small is dealt with. (as per New York).

I only feel sorry for her because it is NOT being applied properly!

If they are going to use Zero Tolerance, NO exceptions based on whatever, and decrease the paperwork for minor offences!

It will only work when everyone realises the LAW must be Obeyed.

Not everyone realises that - heck, I don't even realise that. Bad laws need not be obeyed. We're going to see this when the ID card comes in.

In this particular instance, she was travelling with a private company, whereby acceptance of their rules is part of the conditions of carriage. Either you put up with it, or don't travel with them.

Agree Smidgey, the laws I am talking about are the ones that are not politically driven.

Laws we had to obey as we grew up but in todays climate Police are not interested, below them?
