Who feels like joining me to try and set up a viral campaign/petition in support of Nick Hogan and his determination to stand up for freedom?

http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/...n_the_spot.php

the news article above, in the Bolton news, prompted more than 400 comments yesterday, and the poll gave the pro smoking lobby a clear 2 thirds majority. This debate is really heating up now, and i believe it won't be long before we see some serious defiance to this non-sensical law !

Ooooo... I like this comment, near the top:

Now that is an interesting point.

Yes it is, and he is not an employee of
Bolton Council either, I hope this could
be the start of backlash/knee jerk tabloid
reaction and get the sleeping majority
back to conciousness(sp) and realise what is
really happening.

What really gets my goat as well is the fact that every public place has to have a "NO SMOKING SIGN" (a big one at that) in view for everyone to see.

Is it not illegal to kill someone in a public space?

Is it not illegal to Urinate in a public space?

Is it not illegal to Have sex with someone in a public space?

Is it not illegal to expose yourself in a public space?

Is it not illegal to steal from someone in a public space?

Is it not illegal to stab someone in a public space?

Is it not illegal to assault someone in a public space?

Is it not illegal to ******* someone in a public space?

Is it not illegal to use drugs in a public space?

So where are the F-ing signs at the door to tell people this?

Angry

I agree the no smoking signs are an eyesore. We have had to put them on the door windows (entrances) of our lorries, this could become a safety issue as it restricts the drivers view. We have today taken the kids to a 19th century Cotton mill where the character of the entrances have been severely blighted by these monstrosities and guess what, unable to take pictures of them coming out of the work/apprentice house without a big red and white placard in the background. where nobody would have smoked even before the ban. I suppose wedding photos are going to have similar problems.
