just imagine the fun solicitors will have with this and how much money they make and whats the largest profession in the commons oh yes solicitors

It is just horrific. How can anyone have their property confiscated and their movement and communications restricted WITHOUT being convicted of anything?

I can't believe that this doesn't breach the Human Rights Act anyway.

I love the fact that we're supposed to 'trust' the authorities not to abuse this. Look at how they abuse the powers in the Terrorism Acts FFS.

Because that requires a certain amount of evidence that would lead to a prosecution.
