Wouldn't it be nice to see some statements from UKIP on this from time to time!

The excuse I received for no traffic about ID cards was the old saw of media disinterest in UKIP - does that apply to our in house rag too? |

I don't think that they understand that the amount of effort that we put INTO phpbb_the EU is about the amount of effort we need to simultaneously put INTO phpbb_12 other areas if we are to be taken seriously.
Where is the campaign on ID cards? Discipline in schools? GM crops? Food labelling in restaurants? Age ratings for TV programmes and magazines? There are all sorts of campaigns that we should be running. |

I'd agree with that! It seems months ago that RKS said there were no real policies. All I see is Nigel Farage on an oft repeated programme on BBC Parliament! Whatever Ukippers think of him, I think he could at least be seen as a good voice for Ukip.
Is he being suppressed by a cabal of non-thinkers? |

Farage is pretty liberal in a lot of ways (anyone remember Question Time).
I don't think anyone suppresses him though. I just don't think the will has been there in the leadership and maybe to an extent the membership too. I think the fact research groups are being set up is a good sign, but we will need to see the fruit of them before we can really tell. UKIP will always have the EU as it's central pillar. Afterall, it's the one thing that does effect all others! It's making sure that the EU doesn't get covered to the exclusion of all other issues that's important. I'm more optimisitc that this could be changing now.
