No. The B&B owner owns the business. It's his. He didn't sell out for benefits of being limited or being a PLC. It's all on his shoulders. His house, his rules.

The bank is owned by shareholders. They sold out for the benefits of being PLCs. No one person owns the bank, therefore there's no one personal opinion involved in the running of it. Everyone's house, everyone's rules.

I kind of like your methodology there JC. I think I will take it on and use it as my own.

ive read the proposed Religious hatred bill and the bank closing down this customers account would not be contrvening this bill so they could do it even if the Religious hatred bill was introduced

check it yourself if you don't belive me

John like i keep saying, under the current law the B&B owner has the right to turn people away so there isnt a problem he has the freedom to do this, so the point is mute the B&B owner can turn everyone away he does not want staying in his establishment

Not really. The Scottish Tourist Board denied him a listing in their database because of his actions, rendering him less able to compete with his gay-friendly competitors. So while the law isn't closing him down as such, the powers that be are trying their hardest by way of "do what we tell you or you can't have free advertising".

But hey, never mind - the whole thing gives me an idea for yet another method of making money.

but according to you this mythical silent majoirty would want to stay in a B&B like that and it was given media attention so wont this silent majority be more likely to stay there increasing thier profits

personally i wouldnt want to stay in such an unfriendly place but thats the freedom i have to pick somewhere else

Just a point to add. The Co-op Bank is linked to the Co-operative Party, so it is vaguely political anyway!

They believe sexual activity is only lawful within marriage and that homosexuality is perverting God's created order. See http://www.christianvoice.org.uk/med...ain_in_Sin.pdf on page 14 half way down.

They also have links to do with sexual healing. See http://www.christianvoice.org.uk/police.html

If it has been mentioned earlier forgive me but I would like to point out that the Co-operative Bank does Islamic loans according to Sharia law.

The same Sharia law which stones homosexuals, I don't see anything to do with Christian Voice saying that they want to stone homosexuals.

I suppose if they ban Christian voice they should also ban religious Muslims because they don't agree with homosexuality either, not many religious people (and non religious people for that matter) agree with homosexuality.

What's the next step, people who march against paedophiles being told to close their bank accounts?
