This is what makes WWII vets so angry after seeing their friends dying for what they believe was a just war and then seeing what appears to be a totarlitarian state creeping in here in the UK. No wonder some of them in their old age appear unbalanced they must feel the sacrifices they and their friends made were for nothing.
