The English language and John Terry
A question..........
We've all seen the video of what John Terry said, and it's
undeniable, but isn't the use of the word "black" a statement
of fact in this context?
Surley for it to be a racist comment he would have to have
said he was a c*** because he is black..???? Not because
Terry thinks he is one who happens to be black..???

The point being that if Terry thinks he is a c*** because
he beleives he is one is not racist despite the fact black is
in the sentence, unless Terry says he is a c*** because
he is black..........

What I'd be interested to know is, if the roles had been reversed and the same words said, except changing black for white, if any action would have been taken?
I am suprised a footballer has that wide a vocabulary, and I still can't see what all the fuss is about.
To be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised action is being taken in this case – Police use similar language, even against their Black colleagues...
It looks to me and I'm not an expert lip reader,like he says "blind" not black.
