Unfortunately Tanny, it's theoretically possible, but not likely. I was one one of the people in UKIP who wanted to petition to get the Queen to withhold Assent from the Lisbon Treaty, but Lord Willoughby de Broke pointed out that the government could use the Parliament Act to railroad it through if they wanted.

Looks like someone or a group of people either didn't like what was happening on the website or feel threatened by the activity that was going on on the website.

    It has been hacked.

It may be cost-efficient to buy a rubber stamp and avoid maintenance, cleaning and security charges for palaces.

The Matron gave me a positive rep for this post. Does that mean that she thinks the site being hacked is a good thing?
Why did I get a positive rep for that post?

As I support the bill I dont think I want to ask the Queen not to sign it, I wish the government would just get on with it and the NHS bill.

Oh No. I support the bill. Personally I think it is still far too generous but it will do as a start.

Well, personally, I don't think so. The Queen and Royal Family bring far more in to this country than they "take out". Why are you so keen to make more than 800 people redundant (Buckingham palace only!)?
