Default The 2008 BNP Accounts‏ - Nick Griffin!

    EXPANSION, GROWTH, PROGRESS
    The 2008 BNP Accounts

A message from Chairman Nick Griffin MEP…

    Fellow British Patriot,

The BNP's accounts for 2008 have now been published, and they have thrown every anti-BNP vested interest group into consternation!

As we prepare to enter 2010 stronger than ever before, we should pause briefly to consider the considerable expansion, growth and progress that the BNP achieved during the momentous year of 2008, the year we made our breakthrough into mainstream politics when Cllr. Richard Barnbrook was elected onto the London Assembly.

Firstly, some background info: The BNP started 2008 with some unresolved internal problems, with a modest level of debt (something common among all political parties), and a turnover of just over £400,000.

The BNP's recently published accounts show that total central party income rose from £400,000 in to a staggering £1 million during 2008!
During 2008, the Party opened no fewer than four units/offices around the country, totally overhauled its internal administration, recruited a record number of new staff members, and achieved the stunning breakthrough into the big time on the London Assembly.

During 2008, membership of the BNP rose, whereas the membership of UKIP and most other parties continued their steep terminal decline.
BNP membership during most of 2008 stood at 9,000 plus. At this very moment at the end of 2009, BNP membership now stands at 13,000 plus 3,000 on hold due to the membership ban.

During 2008, the BNP outstripped UKIP enormously in fundraising, despite the friendly coverage that UKIP regularly enjoys from the establishment media and the venomous hostility that the BNP endures.

During 2008, the BNP's turnover reached £1million (£1.2 million if we include regional fundraising), whereas UKIP's turnover crashed to a paltry £600,000.

Further proof of the BNP powering past UKIP in the serious stakes is evident in the results from the London elections held in May 2008, where the BNP achieved almost triple the UKIP vote and won a seat on the London Assembly.

All of this shows that the BNP is healthier than ever and growing at a steady pace both numerically and financially, and this will be shown more clearly in the 2009 accounts.

Please bear in mind that these highly impressive examples of the BNP's growth and progress are from 2008. When the 2009 BNP accounts are published they are likely to cause a political earthquake when the Establishment realises that our turnover is now around the £1.5 million mark and our membership has exploded to new levels.

    Professional new treasury and accountancy
    department now established.
The party deeply regrets the lateness in submitting the 2008 accounts; quite simply, we were caught out by the extent and speed of our growth in 2008.

The problem is now fixed: In early 2009, as soon as we realised that we were expanding at such a rate and that our existing treasury department could not begin to cope with the complexities involved, we employed the full time services of a senior qualified accountant and an experienced accounts technician.

For years our treasury staff battled to do the best they could but as the Party began to grow it was apparent that despite the heroic efforts of our willing amateurs we needed to bring in the appropriate experts to deal with our affairs.

2008 was the year of change for our party: we started the year with opposition-linked subversion and an unhealthy financial position, and then we launched our Rapid Expansion Plan.

    The Rapid Expansion Plan:
Our highly successful 'Rapid Expansion Plan' involved the establishment of proper premises and the recruitment of professional staff as well as rolling out an extensive training programme that would equip our key people for the new professional Party blueprint.

We also fought the London Assembly Election in 2008, one of the biggest campaigns to date and we were successful in winning a seat on the GLA. This is testament to the validity of our new way forward and has been further ratified this year by the achievement of having won two seats in the European Parliament. Not bad for a party who only two years ago was written by most political commentators!

    This is only the beginning!
The BNP has continued and accelerated its growth in 2009 while most other parties are in financial and numerical freefall. We now have 5 fully staffed offices throughout the country as well as automated industrial mailing plant and two call centres as well as a dedicated training centre.

All of these developments have been made possible through the incredible generosity of ordinary members over the last two years, who have given repeatedly to the party fundraising appeals. THANK YOU.

The Party understands and appreciates that the stream of appeal letters can sometimes be challenging. However, I am sure you can now see how crucial the role of this fundraising strategy has been in our incredible growth and political successes over the last two years. Through your generosity we are now in a position to take on the big boys of British politics………and win!

Our fundraising, and hence political, success has not gone unnoticed by the establishment. That is why we have suffered so many attacks in recent times. Our professionalisation strategy has unlocked, or is unlocking, our full potential…AND THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!

We have asked for much but now I hope you can see what your faith, generosity and dedication have established!

We have a General Election to fight now, so enough dwelling on our past achievements.

Let us all take great encouragement from our current position and re-pledge ourselves to even greater achievements during 2010.

Westminster is an ambitious but credible target if we all pull together through the next few months.

    Yours sincerely

    Nick Griffin MEP
    Chairman, BNP

Excellent news - the fake UKIP organisation is seeing its membership and funding shrink, while the BNP is on the up and up! Congratulations to the BNP team that has made this happen, and a Merry Christmas to all BNP voters and supporters!

2009 will see a spike for UKIP though but much smaller than in 2004.

When I frequently receive one of the appeal letters I remember that without them we might have not made the breakthrough into the European Parliament. They are a necessary part of the funding machine, and most importantly they are very effective.
