Signed, just because it was east.

She won't do anything. She will be the Queen that oversaw the death of Britain.

Default Support from CREC

Wow!

Potentially excellent news, since this extends the appeal to Her Majesty which CREC began at Christmas, and brings into greater porominence the Queen's vital role in defending our Constitution.

So I've signed it as soon as I read about it; I discovered I am signatory No. 143 - not bad, as it says the petition was only started today.

It'll have to go some to catch ours, we have now distributed over 160,000 purple postcards in 76 days of campaigning.

You can add a personal message to your signature, so I added this:

QUOTE

I am Secretary of the Campaign for a Referendum on the European Constitution (CREC) which during the past 10 weeks has distributed 160,000 pre-addressed postcards to Her Majesty the Queen asking her to refuse Royal Assent to the Lisbon Treaty until such time as the British people have approved it in a referendum - Campaign for a Referendum on the European Constitution

Of course she will - she signed all previous treaties, so why should this one be any different ?

Let's be clear - we are the "cattle" and she holds us in total contempt.

We are merely her slaves who must support her rotten empire and pay her our pound of flesh, by order of the British Empire - the same one that enslaved the world and the United Corporation Of America.

God save us from the queen....

Default National Anthem - all 7 verses

As 'youcanhandlethetruth' has touched on the national anthem, here are all 7 verses of the national anthem:

1.

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen!

2A. (modern, more 'politically correct' version of verse 2 - but now omitted altogether as it is now deemed politically incorrect (why?))

O Lord our God arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall!
Confound their knavish tricks,
Confuse their politics,
On you our hopes we fix,
God save us all!

2B. (original version of verse 2)

O Lord our God arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall!
Confound their Popish tricks,
Confuse their politics,
On you our hopes we fix,
God save us all!

3.

Not in this land alone,
But be God's mercies known,
From shore to shore!
Lord make the nations see,
That men should brothers be,
And form one family,
The wide world o'er.

4.

From every latent foe,
From the assassins blow,
God save the Queen!
O'er her thine arm extend,
For Britain's sake defend,
Our mother, prince, and friend,
God save the Queen!

5.

Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign!
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause,
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen!

6. (sung at the time of the Jacobite rebellion, 1745)

God grant that Marshall Wade,
May by thy mighty aid,
Victory bring,
May he sedition hush,
And like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush,
God save the King.

Just a quick question to Tony about verse 5....

"May she defend our laws"

Is defending our laws by signing the EU treaty ?

I suspect laws should be based on the common will of the people but if the treaty becomes law, will she be defending the law that is the EU treaty ?

It's a tricky one to weigh up I admit.

To be fair if she won't sign, I take back and apologize for everything I said and will happily become a royalist overnight.

Default Answer to 'youcanhandlethetruth'

'youcanhandlethetruth' asked:

Just a quick question to Tony about verse 5..."May she defend our laws". Is she defending our laws by signing the EU treaty?

REPLY: IMO there was a very good case that the Queen should have taken robust advice in 1972 when the government came up with Section 2(1) of the European Communities Act - placing our laws under E.U. Directives and Regulations. She should have refused to sign, and thereby she would have triggered a referendum. The British people would have tended to want to keep the status quo and would probably have rejected the Act. Three years later, the status quo was to stay in the Common Market, a major reason why that vote was lost. So had she intervened, the course of history might have been very different.

Now, as far as I can see, there is a much graver threat, since it is explicit in the Lisbon Treaty that the European institution can take more power to themselves without even our Parliament being required to 'rubber-stamp' them.

This is a true watershed moment, where there appears to be no easy way of turning back.

The British people are beginning to have a sense of this, hence the astonishigly high 88%-plus support for a referendum. History may judge our Queen harshly if she fails to defend our Constitution over the next few weeks.
