I have signed it, posted it on several fora and sent it to contacts with websites etc to circulate. That will gain it lots of signatures. This is a supurb petition as it puts the Queen's duty into focus.

REPLY: The figures tonight confirm this. Although 300-plus signed it on Day 1 (6 March), today, 13 days later, the total number who've signed is just over 2,500 and the daily average signing has dropped down steadily to around 190.

CREC has supported this petition and circulated details of it.

But perhaps there is all the more reason now to support CREC's 'purple postcard' petition.

This was started on 21 December 2007 when our printer delivered us the first 45,000 cards. We wondered if we would be able to sell them.

Today - Day 89 of the campaign - we have sold over 180,000 cards i.e. over 2,000 every single day, and we've just ordered another 53,000 cards numbered 197,001 to 250,000

Sorry to add fuel to the fire, but you're expected the jailkeeper to hand you the keys to your prison cell.

The only way you'll change anything is to tell people what's at stake in simple terms - paint a bleak(and probably accurate) picture of what might happen if she does sign, that might actually motivate people to think twice before unquestionably supporting the monarchy or thinking they're not affected.

My advice - get all the hard core anti-EU bullet points you can find and shock people into realizing they're in trouble if they do nothing....

They don't even need to be 100% accurate - they can just be possible - they may well be true anyway....

Time to get dirty I'm afraid - the EU are anyway, so why shouldn't we ?

Maybe they can look into the exploitation of the British people by the monarchy at the same time.....
