MKPD - if she did something it would have to work. If she simply refused to sign and Brown was able to rouse public opinion against her because she is unelected [pot calling the kettle black!] the situation would be worse than it is now. On balance, by refusing to sign - are you sure it would have the desired effect?

Its not all about that. Sure it would help, but even if it failed, at least we would know where she stood. At the moment I don't and on an issue as important as this, that is unforgivable. For anyone, including the Queen.

Unless it had the desired effect it would be an empty gesture and her position would be compromised and severely weakened. If she remains silent her influence is retained - who knows what she is doing behind the scenes - her status gives her a great deal of clout with [the few remaining] great and the good.

Perhaps she is arranging to have Brown assassinated - is he staying overnight in Paris in the near future?

Of course she won't do anything - she would have blocked us getting into the EU before if she had wanted to.
Asking "her majesty" to do take us out is like putting the rat in charge of the cheese larder.

Our printer has promised us 53,000 more postcards on Monday and we'll try to clear all the back orders within 48 hours of getting them.

thats good news. we should spread the word of this camgain to our local newspaper's and national press and see if we can get any of them to advertise this camgain a little that would give it such a boost and send a signal to brown that we arent happy
