By all means try to get the Queen to stand up for her subjects, but don't bet your house on her.

Default CREC Campaign - About the only option now.

I work with CREC. 100,000 cards ordered in just five weeks - and that is with virtually no publicity via the mainstream media!
Just think what the public response would be once they were given the full facts about the real intention of the EU 'constitution' which the MPs are deliberately hiding from us.
Since the majority of MPs treat us with contempt and ignore those who they are paid (very handsomely) to represent - is there any other option but to appeal direct to HMQ via CREC's petition cards?
Government can only be effective with the consent of the people - be sure that the Queen understands this and will "advise" Mr Brown to give the referendum his party promised.

What could Brown do if she found endless excuses for not signing it?

Lost it, forgot, arthritis in her hand, indisposed etc.

She could do a lot more, if she really gave a toss.

There would be no point if Brown has a simple, or even not so simple, recourse to her not signing.

Even if he beheaded her - I don't think the people would rise up in revolution.

Neither you or I know that! Remember this lady is surrounded by official advisers who would strongly advise her against opposing the will of her own elected government!
