It's funny, from someone who claims they want evidence they say "as far as they are aware", hardly evidence of your own, but yes, just from the blog mentioned in the other thread I can offer you Cllr Alan Warner (Denby Parish Council and Heanor Town Council), Cllr Chris Beverley (Yorkshire Elections Officer, Leeds Organiser - Mark Collett's local Branch - and Advisory Council Member), Cllr Colin Auty (Kirklees Metropolitan Council and Great White Records Recording Artist), Cllr Dave Brown (Broxtowe), Cllr Graham Partner (North West Leicestershire Fundholder), Cllr John Ryde (East Midlands Press Officer and Education & Training Officer), Cllr Lewis Allsebrook (Amber Valley Organiser), Cllr Nina Brown (East Mids Regional Secretary and Broxtowe Organiser), Cllr Roger Robertson (South East Regional Organiser and Advisory Council Member), Cllr Sadie Graham (Head of Group Development, East Mids Regional Organiser and Advisory Council Member), Dr James Lewthwaite (Former Bradford Councillor).

Slightly more than your -1, wouldn't you agree?

As I said, 25% down total, if someone listed them all (I'm not going to bother searching out all the councilors past and present of the BNP, as I think people can see from that list alone we're talking about considerably more than the -1 you were trying to portray)
What is interesting to note is that they all still retain the whip of the BNP, what is listed on the blog can not be relied on as people are swinging sides all the time. While they still sit as BNP councillors they are BNP councillors, also they are not resigning memberships just 'protesting'.

However I am not going to argue over this anymore, you clearly cant see past what you want to see. None as blind as those that will not see.

Now lets get back ontopic to that of the GLA elections and what people think the results will be like.

Respect will be interesting to watch due to their being two parties now, if they remain as two parties they could split the support and lose out on any GLA seats.

And yet earlier you said

Must have been a turbulent night, having gone from no rebellion outside of a handful of people in Derby, to people all over the country swinging sides at the drop of a hat..., or maybe you are just making things up, as you go along?

I quote the people themselves

"5, Throw off the party whip and declare yourself an independent Nationalist councillor."

I think that safely states they are not sitting as BNP councilors, besides some have been expelled from the party, have they not, so couldn't sit as BNP if they wanted, whilst you are also ignoring the seats you've lost at elections.

Again, the facts run considerably against the spin you try to put out.

Indeed, and I can clearly see far more about the workings of your party than you can, despite not being a member, or a supporter, which would be deeply disturbing for me, if it was my party, either that or you are deliberately sitting there insulting the entire membership of this forum, by deliberately trying to mislead them with badly constructed spin and lies.

But you're right, these attempts at BNP spin have derailed the thread sufficiently, so it is time to get back to the subject at hand.

I've not seen any denials thus far!

Usually there's a much quicker reaction to stop such suggestions from impairing the campaign.

HMMmmm? There seems to be something to this idea.

Are any Polish or Islamic Parties standing in the London 08 elections, if so, they may take seats. BNP will win 2, UKIP 1

It will be interesting to see where the Muslim vote will go, although my bet is for Livingstone.

Respect are in a sorry state following the split last autumn which was inevitable anyway. The Respect Coalition proper is now dominated by the SWP faction and is becoming a traditional far-left party. They are even holding a public meeting to defend the Abortion Act on the 16th January. I wonder what the Muslims think of this?!

I doubt that the SWP faction of Respect contesting the Assembly elections with white non-Muslim Trots will get many votes from anybody. If the Galloway faction can get backing from senior figures in the Islamic community then it might scrape a seat.

Here's what the Beeb reported:

I think you will find that Labour has been working hard to reign in the Islamic vote in London. I really can't see Respect achieving anything at all in this election.

What about the assembly elections? Are there any Muslim parties contesting it?

I suppose it was inevitable that the Muslim/Respect alliance would break apart, but it was useful as a way of containing the Muslim vote; I hope something new comes along.
