URGENT - THREATENED A&E HOSPITAL CLOSURE IN SURREY

(Circulation: Campaign for an Independent Britain supporters and Petition signatories in Surrey)

Campaign for an Independent Britain is supporting a public demonstration on Saturday (21 October 2006) at 12 noon beside Tunsgate in Guildford town centre. The event is to oppose the threatened closure of the Accident & Emergency unit of the Royal Surrey County hospital and/or St Peter's at Chertsey.

We will be distributing CIB's new 'Support for Nurses' leaflet making the point that the huge cost of the European Union, allied to EU-imposed privatization of healthcare provision, is a primary reason why NHS funding is in such a mess.
