    Default New 'Lightweight' style

I have replaced the old mobile version which didn't really work with a much better 'lightweight' style for mobiles, iPads, iPhones etc. It looks better and should work for the whole site.

Strange .. I note that "from a mobile device" is shown on posts .. but I just used my iPad (secondary WiFi location at home) and also just tested from my iPhone too .. neither shows up as a mobile device ?? Is it because me and my server are in Switzerland ?

i.e. does it only pick up UK mobiles ?

Just curious .. I rarely post from a computer now anyway.

And yet my posts from my PC are labelled - posted via mobile device...

Also, the site looks no different on my Android phone to my PC. Shouldn't the mobile format kick in automatically? Or do I have to select it somewhere?

OK, I have made a couple of changes. It should no longer add the message about posting from a mobile device and it should autodetect mobile systems and use the new style.

Oh darn .. the new format shows on my iPad .. don't like it. Is there a way to bypass this and choose the old one ?

Not sure if I should talk to you .. I get accused of "sucking up" to the Mods, so talking to the forum owner would be a major suckup... ! However..

Thanks for giving us the choice between the two .. and I do think some will prefer the new Mobile style, and others like me will stay with the original.

I prefer the mobile style - but two small niggles:

The Settings/User CP page doesn't show new subscribed posts - you have to go into subscribed posts to see what is new.

BNP posts are coming up on the New Posts section on mobile.

People will have lots of different ways of using the forum but I tend mainly to use the What's New or Settings pages.

It is a cut down version of the main site, so some features are compressed or left off I think.

I have fixed the news feed hopefully.
