Final Warning
Some users have ignored our polite requests and prods via infractions about personal abuse towards other users. We have had more than one legal threat this week and it has to stop.
I have therefore changed the system. From now on three infractions within a month will lead to a permanent ban, rather than the 1 week holiday as before.
I will review this in a month or so if things calm down.

It sounds like a new profession is booming in Blighty. The ambulance chaser lawyers are now targeting free speech. I'm not condoning abuse per se, but it is rather a loose term that in itself could be abused. There was someone on here that tried the legal threat on me a while ago, even though there was nothing what so ever libellous about what I said. What a crazy world.

Right. And to make the forum owner's life a little less fraught with grief, I will endeavour to ignore them if and when they start their nonsense. If I find I cannot tolerate their abusive commentary, instead of fighting back I will leave. Fair trade, I think.
