In a vanilla install of phpBB subSilver the phpbb syntax code is located in overall_footer.tpl

The best way to alter the colour is in the administrative section, styles admin, edit subSilver, font colours 2 & 3 are the colours applied to the admin and moderators (respectively, I think). Hope that helps

OK, no worries - it's not a biggie.

And there is now concrete arguments that this should be adopted as an OFFICIAL UKIP site.

It is bizarre that UKIP does not have a member/supporter based forum.
ANY comments posted on an official forum would be construed by our enemies as OFFICIAL party views - would give them too much ammunition.

If the 'party' forum was restircted to party members only, then all an infiltrator woulf have to do is fork out £20 for membership and they would have access.

Its a shame but there you go.

Just noticed that this has been fixed and admins are now a fetching shade of blue.

Nice one chaps.

Default Forum mechanics

Hello,

Sorry if this is not the right place for questions like this - it looked the closest to an appropriate place I could find.

I am fairly new to web forums altogether and brand new to this one.

If I post to a thread, providing I check the box "Notify me when a reply is poseted", then I will get an e-mail when there are further posts into the thread. Is that correct?

Is there any way of registering an interest in a thread without having to post a message there, so that I will still be e-mailed with any new posts?

Thanks,

Hedley Lester

Yep - just click the small blue text bottom left which reads "Watch this topic for replies."
(If you are already watching it, it reads "Stop watching this topic")

You could also use the 'view posts since last visit' (on the forum home page) which gives you a potted view of what threads have been posted to since last time, then just click on the threads of interest to you.
