You can just try deleting the cookie for the forum, if switching the domain name doesn't work. This sometimes happens with these forums.

How come the ability to add sigs to post was removed after having been enabled?

Why don't you enable the facility for folks to use their own Avatars?

It wasn't supposed to be enabled - it was a default setting in the software.
