I hate the new layout of this forum. And that link just takes me to exactly the same thing.

Well done!

Pleased to see the domain name has changed, and a good demonstration that you can be a safe pair of hands for sorting out the web site.

Good idea to offer blogs, too. I'd have used this facility if it had been there when I started, but I think I'm too far down the road to change now.

One question. How do I restore the www button which used to show at the foot of my posts?

When you click on a user in the members list.
I can't replicate that one unfortunately.
I see
Code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: bbencode_second_pass() in /usr/www/users/bookfizz/ukipforum/includes/usercp_viewprofile.php on line 304
When I click on John Page - the last poster in a group. I did it by accident as I wanted to see the last post not the profile. Checking briefly, it only happens with that member's profile.

Wrong. It also happens with Intbel, either on the main page, if he's the last poster, or if you try to access the poster's profile from elsewhere. Not being able to access a profile isn't that big a deal IMHO.

Initially coming into the site, one gets the impression of clean lines and a very professional looking website.

Someone has clearly taken time to consider the best layout, and have done a pretty good job....

Some parts are a little confusing, and perhaps entry to the boards could be emphasised by stronger fonts, but familiarity soon comes in to play.

Blogs are a good idea - I've not got one of my own, so will certainly be making use of the one here to bore anybody that cares to read it.

There will always be teething problems with a major change, but not encountered any issues as yet.

Thank you for an updated, very well presented website.

It's growing on me now my eyes have adjusted to the smaller fonts.

I also like the fact the Union flags has been incorporated.

If I may make a suggestion...

I don't know about the other stuff added cause I've not had time to look at it yet but I don't like the new main forum layout cause in the old one you could scroll down all the sub-catagories and see which had been added to and which hadn't. But now you have to click on the main catagories to see which sub-catagories in there have been added to and which haven't. Just seems like a bit of a step backward to me.

I don't see how it looks nicer cause the font is harder to read and it's a forum so people expect to have long lists of topics to check. And I don't see how it is easier either cause now instead of simply scrolling up and down, you have to click and wait for each catagory to download to check them.

How exactly is this better than the old layout?

I request to be logged in automatically but it does not happen. Is it me or teething troubles?
