[quote=youcanhandlethetruth;501024] No but Bear, if the authorities demand something of you the YOU MUST NOT DEFY THEM.

If they want to make a law saying they can rape your wife and cut off your head then you MUST allow them to do it, because IT IS THE LAW, and ALL PEOPLE WHO BREAK THE LAW ARE EVIL AND MUST BE PUNISHED......

Not complying with anybody in authority is BREAKING THE LAW and therefore they deserve everything they get...... Even torture if the law allows it.....

Don't you agree ?[/quote

If you do not want to be a criminal then I agree absolutely.

On the other hand if society decides that such a law is wrong then there is a democratic (well, in the case of Britain sort of democratic) way that it can, and would be changed.

Not so in Islam. What was set down 1300 years ago is as right today as it was then and will remain so in perpetuity.

Take so called Honour Killings…..

My god - if an apple core is a health and safety risk then well, imagine all those millions of tons of metal flying around our roads everyday, and all those children who run in the playground - they could well fall over and break their necks and die horribly.
Motor vehicles are an expected hazard on and by roads and steps and laws are in place to deal with them to then extent that is possible.

A trip or slip hazard on a pavement is not.
