Some core support for UKIP within Havering & some other outer London boroughs which is good to see despite the overall result. I wonder why Alperton in Brent acheived such a relatively good result for Gerard Batten. Anyone know? There were no UKIP candidates in the whole borough in 2006. The bottom ten are basically a broad mix of innerish London boroughs in my opinion. Tory inner, Labour inner, Lib Demish outer/inner. Uber 'liberal' Elite territory from my (maybe wrong) perception of the ward names. The young elites of East Dulwich and Dalston will in time move to Hampstead Town and South Twickenham.
This is brand new news about an archived election. If moderators are agreeable could I suggest leaving it here for a few days and then move it to the archived part of the site. I think there will be all sorts of other ward analysis of the London elections to emerge over coming days. It would be a great shame in my opinion if that was all posted in or instantly removed to a purposely redundant part of the forum. And that counts for the existing BNP topic on B&D as well.
