I am very pleased to hear this. I hope everyone in the country sees it.
I might point out (to boost my ego a bit): It was me at an NEC meeting having watched the DVD, that mentioned that the Referendum Party was the first to go in for direct propaganda by TV media to the public by sending out a VHS video tape by post, to millions of houses throughout the country: in fact the goal was to get one in every other house in the country.
It was a remarkably foresighted idea: never had been done before, and was spectacularly successful. It raised the profile of the RP from nothing at all - totally unknown - to being
known by the public (the biggest single hurdle which takes political parties at least ten years to do otherwise) within a month. It was one of the biggest bills Sir Jimmy Goldsmith had to pick up in the campaign - it cost millions.
I said (hopefully) is there any possibility it could be sent out like the RP did? .... The answer was: nice idea ... but the cost ........... !
