quote B.A.Ware
Lets get one thing straight yes i have criticised the party for various reasons, i believe in calling a spade a spade and i will stand by my comments as i truly believe they are in the interest of the party.
Most of my criticisms have been about the need to change ie openness, transparency, core values, vision, party relaunch, the website addressing peoples immediate concerns not just the EU, marketing the party so people don't just see it as a single issue party.
I have had Douglas Denny on here telling me not to worry about the national image just get out there and campaign, like you he doesn't realise that is just what i have been doing for the past four years and the answer is always the same "UKIP your only interested in the EU" then i get told tell people how the EU affects their everyday life, something i have been doing since i started it doesn't make any difference .........

Bernard. Nothing wrong in criticising the party if you have positive alternatives. You think you have: fair enough. You state them; that's fine by me.
Don't think your campaigning makes no difference however, - it
does make a difference - and more power to your elbow! Good on yer! Remember the idea of the 'butterfly effect' in chaos theory: the smallest bat of a wing can make a difference to a storm on the other side of the Earth i.e. to large scale (global) events.
Also in case you haven't noticed: it
has been a core policy shift in the last year at least (actually long before that though not so noticable) to try to broaden the policy appeal to the electorate, deliberately to get away from the 'one issue party' image. The recent development of D. Campbell-Bannerman's policy groups to concentrate on radical policy development, by using the expertise of people who really know what they are talking about in the different policy areas is the latest and best strategy to do this.
Always though we are beset with the usual problems of getting the message out not only to the electorate with a mute and hostile media deliberately ignoring us; but to our own membership too as we can only put so much (too little) into the only method of reaching directly to all members - the 'Independence News'. Believe me, we
want to get the message out.

This relentless message of telling people about the EU will not work

You are right.
I know. We all know. The public don't know. That is the problem. We are beset with propaganda by the opposition (by their control of the media) to deliberately engender that.

So think on when you have a go at me for criticising the party whether it is on a forum or any other medium it is feed back from the man on the street not me being self righteous.

I understand that. Why do you think I put up with all the cr@p on here and keep posting? Answer: to keep the information flowing if possible and counter the anti-UKIP propaganda. I could just dissappear for good. Some here are genuine people who really care for the country. It shows. The rest can go to Hell in a handcart as far as I am concerned. You are not included Bernard.
