Lets get one thing straight yes i have criticised the party for various reasons, i believe in calling a spade a spade and i will stand by my comments as i truly believe they are in the interest of the party.
Most of my criticisms have been about the need to change ie openness, transparency, core values, vision, party relaunch, the website addressing peoples immediate concerns not just the EU, marketing the party so people don't just see it as a single issue party.

I have had Douglas Denny on here telling me not to worry about the national image just get out there and campaign, like you he doesn't realise that is just what i have been doing for the past four years and the answer is always the same "UKIP your only interested in the EU" then i get told tell people how the EU affects their everyday life, something i have been doing since i started it doesn't make any difference so i feed this back only to be told by people like yourself that i am a trouble causer and i should toe the party line regardless.

It might be different where you live but in a city people are very insular and don't seem to want to get involved. Now you can carry on living the dream but i live in the real world and UKIP has made no advances here in a matter of fact it has gone back-wards (see Birmingham results in the Results section) i lost 109 votes this election -22% and i got the top result out of the 13 candidates standing the BNP beat us in 11 of these wards if you think that is moving forward then you are just kidding yourself.

This relentless message of telling people about the EU will not work yes i know it is one of our main goals but it should stay in the background and we should concentrate on domestic issues you know the ones that interest the general public the ones we would have to address if ever we got into power.

So think on when you have a go at me for criticising the party whether it is on a forum or any other medium it is feed back from the man on the street not me being self righteous.
Thank you for your full explanation and I believe your heart is in the right place! I still have a problem with UKIP members discussing on a public forum what in their opinion is wrong with the party. If a safe closed forum could be thought up for members only , then I'd be all for us putting in our two pennyworth, which I think would help the party. In my opinion as things stand every derogatory statement made about UKIP on this public forum, hands our enemies another stick to beat us with!
